If that doesn't tickle your taste buds, try the Burrito de Huevos con Chorizo, which combines the rich flavors of eggs and tangy chorizo for a breakfast treat that feels like a warm hug.

For lunch and dinner, don’t miss their signature Wet Burrito, available in a variety of meaty options, including beef, chicken, pork, and even shrimp. Where to Visit

Visitor Testimonials (1119)

It's easy to overlook this tiny place. Ordering options are a walk-up window or drive through. There are three tables out front. Don't let the size fool you - the food is fantastic. We only stopped because we wanted a quick bite to eat, but ended up coming back several times during our stay in Nashville.

El Grullense Taqueria in Hendersonville is a must-visit spot if you're craving delicious Mexican food. This was my second time eating here, and both experiences were excellent. The first time, I opted for the drive-through and grabbed some tacos, which were absolutely delicious. They really hit the spot, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors that stood out. This time, I decided to sit on their outdoor deck. There were plenty of seats available, which made for a nice, relaxed dining experience. It’s worth noting that El Grullense doesn’t offer table service, so you’ll need to order at the window. Despite that, the setup worked well, and it was easy to settle in and enjoy the surroundings while waiting for the food. Once again, the food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, just like the first visit. The staff was also friendly and welcoming both times, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re in Hendersonville and looking for great Mexican food, I highly recommend giving El Grullense Taqueria a try, whether you’re grabbing a quick meal on the go or sitting down to enjoy your food. You won’t be disappointed!

I passed this restaurant for years, until a foodie friend told me that I just had to try it. Delicious! This is such a great place for take out and eating on the patio on a nice day. The staff is so incredibly kind. Today is Valentine’s and they are surprising all customers with a beautiful long-stem rose. Such a sweet surprise. And they humor me by having the patience to let me order in Spanish and always help me improve my Spanish skills.

As someone who grew up 20 minutes north of Tijuana, I have struggled the past four years trying to find quality, authentic Mexican food. This place is my safe haven here and the drive thru is the cherry on top. Their quesobirria tacos are to die for. The Ceviche also did not disappoint. Portions are generous and quality is consistent

Great little spot for authentic mexican food! We visit this place often and the food rarely disappoints. The people are friendly and the food is made to order so it is fresh. A little bit of a wait at times but its worth it. I have tried almost everything on their menu and the only small negative thing I could say is that sometimes their chips for nachos are a stale. Again..not a deal breaker as there are plenty of choices! We will continue to visit this place!

The best Mexican food I've ever had, it's hard for me to go anywhere else now. They also have such a friendly staff. I've really enjoyed seeing this place grow over the years.

1st time here. Several options you don’t see elsewhere. Head meat and tongue. These meats as far as I’ve seen aren’t at the more Americanized restaurants. I got the Sopes. I wasn’t really sure what they were. They were good and plentiful- however I took a bite of a pepper that burned the fire out of my mouth. I assumed it would be mild. They had glass bottle 1 Liter cokes which was pretty cool. As far as atmosphere- well the porch was hot and people were smoking. I hate smoking especially when I’m trying to enjoy eating. Also- not sure about the bathroom situation there? It’s in the kitchen? Parking was ambiguous. A landscape truck was blocking the only few parking spots up front and there seemed to be no other real parking spots available. We found a spot by the dumpster. Anyway- food overall was good, authentic. Don’t expect “free chips and salsa” like most sit down restaurants. Walk up window and drive thru are your ordering options. No adult drinks! My suggestion. Just do drive thru. You will wait for fresh food- but you will most likely enjoy.
